In spring and fall, the White Elephant can be exclusively yours - all 65 rooms, suites and cottages can accommodate your guests.  Your family and friends can enjoy privacy and dedicated attention of our entire staff.  The hotel offers flexible event space that can accommodate a variety of events from the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception to the bridal lunch and farewell Sunday brunch.  In addition, our sister hotel, The Wauwinet, offers additional venues for your wedding weekend. 

Ceremony: The ceremony and cocktails on the courtyard lawn overlooking the harbor.

Reception:  Dinner and dancing to follow.  Depending upon the size of your event, a tent can be erected on the lawn so that your guests can continue to dance the night away without ever leaving the hotel. 

Menus: Our wedding menus reflect the style and quality of the cuisine of Brant Point Grill - the freshest of local ingredients and seafood, quality steaks – all served at an exceptionally high level of service.  

The Details

Parties: Recommended for parties of 150 -350 guests. Couples have the flexibility of flooring and tenting the Harborside Lawn. Larger tented events can accommodate a dining area for the entire wedding party and dance floor. “After hours” dancing and late night bites can continue in Brant Point Grill & Bar.  Next day, host a farewell brunch in the tent or on the Harborside Terrace.

Exclusivity: To ensure the exclusivity of the weekend, the wedding party is required to book all of the accommodations at the hotel and incur the cost of any tenting, flooring and rental equipment.
